Ice cream trucks this horrible don't just grow on ebay (we looked).  Apparently they've all been destroyed or taken into state's evidence in serial killer trials so we had to build our own.  We found a 1981 GMC Stepvan owned by the Illinois Department of Corrections.  A steal at $2k it ended up casting four times that in engine repair and tow bills.  It began throwing belts and breaking down before shooting began and by week three of shooting was effectively an innanimate object that had to be towed from location to location.  After principle photography, the Clown Van received a new fire-breathing engine for all the driving shots.  It had it's day in the sun, terrorizing the citizenry of Effingham, IL.  This van is currently for sale.  Serious and non-serious offers welcome.
